d. The County Administrator reported that checks have been issued pursuant to the order of the Board of Supervisors as to salaries, etc., the amount of which salaries have been heretofore approved.

 

e. Erroneous Assessment: E A T Rental ($246 - Real Estate)

6. Highway Matters: Kevin Wright, Interim Residency Administrator, VDOT

 

 

7. Public Hearing - School Board Appointments

The Board will receive citizen input on names of candidates to be considered for appointment to the School Board in Farmville District 101 (Simpson) and Farmville District 801 (Wiley).

 

 

8. Public Hearing - Motor Vehicle License Tax

The Board will receive citizen input prior to considering amendments to the County's Motor Vehicle License Tax which would exempt certain vehicles, consolidate the categories of vehicle classifications and re-set some of the tax rates.

 

 

9. Public Hearing - Ordinance Creating the Granite Falls Community Development Authority (CDA)

The Board will receive citizen input prior to considering amendments to the ordinance creating the Granite Falls CDA.

 

 

10. Public Hearing - Emergency Operations Plan

The Board will receive public input prior to considering amendments to the County's Emergency Operations Plan.
