Redistricting

Welcome to the 2011 Redistricting Page for the County of Prince Edward, Virginia. The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recently completed the process of redistricting based on the 2010 Census data. The Board of Supervisors adopted a final redistricting plan on March 8, 2011, followed by the mandatory submission to the U.S. Department of Justice for pre-clearance. Sixty days after submission, the County should receive approval and new voter cards will be prepared and distributed for the August 2011 primary election.
