Chelsey George Receives Employee of the Month for May 2026

FARMVILLE, Va. (May 13, 2026) – The Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors is pleased to recognize Chelsey George, Probation Officer with Piedmont Court Services, as the County’s May Employee of the Month.

Ms. George has been with Piedmont Court Services since May 2024 and consistently demonstrates a commitment to service.  She was recently commended for going above and beyond to assist a client in the General District Clerk’s Office, leaving a positive and lasting impression.

“Chelsey is always willing to step in and assist wherever she is needed,” said Donald B. Williamson, Director of Piedmont Court Services. “She exemplifies Prince Edward County’s core values through her teamwork, customer service and positive approach.”

PCS is a regional agency dedicated to enhancing public safety and reducing crime by utilizing effective supervision and alternatives to incarceration.  Local Probation is provided for the counties of Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, Powhatan and Prince Edward.  Pretrial Services are provided for the counties of Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Powhatan and Prince Edward.  The County of Prince Edward serves as its administrative fiscal agent.
