Deputy James Taylor Retires, August 2024

The Board of Supervisors congratulates Deputy James Taylor on his retirement from the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Department.   Deputy Taylor joined the Sheriff’s Department in 2019.  He was recognized in May of 2022 as the County’s first Employee of the Month for his unflappable management of courthouse security during the height of the pandemic and for being a team player, positive role model and for treating everyone with dignity and respect.
