FARMVILLE, Va. (August 18, 2026) – The Board of Supervisors had the pleasure of recognizing the County’s August Employee of the Month, Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Deputy, Sergeant Jason Jenkins.  Sergeant Jenkins has been with the Sheriff’s Department for over eleven years.

“Deputy Jenkins represents the dedication and commitment to service that we value throughout the Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff L.A. “Tony” Epps. “Every day, he approaches the job with a strong work ethic, a willingness to help others, and a genuine commitment to serving the citizens of Prince Edward County. This recognition is well deserved.”
