McDaniel Recognized as December's County Employee of the Month

McDaniel Provides Excellent Service
FARMVILLE, Va. (January 28, 2026) – Earlier this month, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recognized the County’s December Employee of the Month, Thomas McDaniel, Prospect Convenience Center Attendant. Although McDaniel has been with the County for less than a year, he was nominated by a County resident for his “outstanding attitude and dedication.”
“I’m very proud to see Thomas recognized as the County’s Employee of the Month,” said Jeffrey L. Jones, Solid Waste General Manager. “His initiative and strong work ethic have already made a noticeable difference at the Prospect Convenience Center, and he consistently provides excellent service to our citizens.”
The Employee of the Month program recognizes staff members who demonstrate exceptional service to County residents and demonstrate a commitment to the County’s core values –
