Lyttle Plays a Key Role on Solid Waste Team

 

FARMVILLE, Va. (October 15, 2025) – At its October 14, 2025 meeting, the Board of Supervisors had the pleasure of recognizing James Lyttle, the County’s October Employee of the Month.  Mr. Lyttle is an almost 25-year employee of the County and is a Scale House Operator at the Prince Edward County Landfill.

“The County’s solid waste operations depend on teamwork, and James Lyttle plays a key role in keeping our landfill scale house running smoothly,” said Jeffrey L. Jones, Solid Waste General Manager. “His reliability, professionalism, and positive attitude make him an asset to our team and to everyone who visits the facility.”
