Love Integral to County’s Development Team, July Employee of the Month

FARMVILLE, Va. (July 10, 2024) –At its July 9, 2024 meeting, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors had the pleasure of recognizing the County’s July Employee of the Month. Robert Love, the County’s Director of Planning and Community Development.
“Robbie is an integral part of the County’s development team and continues to help improve the quality of growth in Prince Edward County,” said Douglas P. Stanley, County Administrator. “Over the last year, he has implemented a number of positive changes in the County’s development review process and has managed several significant projects including Five Pillars Meat, Dollar General at Kingsville, and Wawa.”
Love holds certifications from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality as a Dual Program Administrator and Dual Inspector for Erosion & Sediment Control and Stormwater. He is a GISP, a designation awarded to certified geographic information system professionals through the GIS Certification Institute. Love is also a member of the American Planning Association, Virginia Chapter, and a life member of the Rural Planning Caucus of Virginia.
