Stimpson Exemplifies Values that Make Our County Strong
FARMVILLE, Va. (August 22, 2025) – At its August 12, 2025 meeting, the Board of Supervisors had the pleasure of recognizing the County’s August Employee of the Month, Prince Edward County Director of Finance & Human Resources, Cheryl Stimpson. Stimpson is a ten-year employee of the County and has served as Finance/HR Director since September of 2021.
“Cheryl exemplifies the values that make Prince Edward County strong,” said Douglas P. Stanley, County Administrator. “Her professional expertise and attention to detail, combined with an unwavering commitment to integrity, ensures that our County operates efficiently and serves our citizens well.”
To be considered for Employee of the Month, an employee must demonstrate at least one of the County’s core values: Customer Service, Teamwork, Innovation Initiative, Attitude Displayed, and Positive Action.
