Tia Walker Recognized as November Employee for the Month

Walker is a Valued Member of Courts Security Team
FARMVILLE, Va. (November 14, 2025) – The Board of Supervisors recently had the pleasure of recognizing the County’s November Employee of the Month, Courtroom Deputy Tia Walker. Deputy Walker has been with the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office for a little less than a year, but quickly become a valued member of the team.
“I’m incredibly proud to see Deputy Walker recognized as Employee of the Month,” said Sheriff L.A. “Tony” Epps. “Her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to serving our courts exemplify the high standards of the Sheriff’s Office.”
To be considered for Employee of the Month, an employee must demonstrate at least one of the County’s core values: Customer Service, Teamwork, Innovation Initiative, Attitude Displayed, and Positive Action.
