Effective: July 31, 2025
Prince Edward County is making major improvements to the Worsham Convenience Center to better serve our residents. Construction will begin in early August 2025, and should be completed in January 2026, weather permitting.
During construction, a temporary drop-off site will be available at 18 County Shop Road.
Please note, the temporary site will only accept:
- Bagged household trash
- Paper and plastic recyclables
All other items — including metal, tires, brush, furniture, white goods, and additional recyclables — must be taken to the County Landfill or an alternate convenience site during this period.
