NOTICE - Antique Vehicle Pers. Prop. Tax Exemption Process Simplified

NOTICE - Deadline Extended: Return of Tangible Personal Property Forms

As a result of recent winter storms and subsequent closures of County Courthouse Offices, the Return of Tangible Personal Property forms will be mailed to taxpayers this week. Because of the delay, the deadline for returning these forms to the Commissioner’s Office has been extended to the close of business on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Quinyana Eanes-Ford Recognized as February Employee of the Month

The Board recognized the County’s February Employee of the Month, Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Department Courtroom Sergeant Quinyana “Q” Eanes-Ford. Sergeant Eanes-Ford has been with the Sheriff’s Office for twelve years, and also serves as the Accreditation Manager, the Evidence Custodian and is part of the Sheriff’s community outreach and communications team. Howard Recognized as January 2026 County Employee of the Month

Shawn Howard, Director of Information Technology, was recognized as the County’s January Employee of the Month. Howard, who has been with the County about two and one-half years, was nominated for his outstanding customer service and his ability to troubleshoot technology issues efficiently, while maintaining a high level of service for County staff.
